- the tax having been paid, the local authorities issue a Decision on registration with the Cadastre as well as the Certificate of Title to the new owner (“List nepokretnosti” in Montenegrin);

There are no limitations for foreigners regarding purchase of new and used residential real estate. Foreign ivestors willing to purchase land in Montenegro for further development, re-selling or other transactions register the title to the purchased land with their company registered in Montenegro.
